I was invited by BrightTalk(TM) to deliver a webinar and at the time the media was covering the PRISM spying scandal and the revelations of Edward Snowden. The scandal exposed the potential security and privacy risks of the Internet and there was some sensationalised reporting and foaming at the mouth. I got to thinking; we are not going to stop using the Internet because we have become reliant on it whether that is in your personal life or if you run a business. So, what happens next?

There I picked up the story and researched this subject and arrived at the conclusion that ‘security’ was not the big story rather that the ‘politics’ of the cloud was the real story. That research revealed some things that you will not have read in the media coverage of PRISM and insight to why this is now on the agenda of our politicians. So what is in store for the future?
